A little sad to say there may not be much if any more racing for the Redneck Mudder. A busted transmission at the last race put a damper our racing fun. And before we could get it fixed we got word there would be no more racing after this weekend at the fairgrounds in Searcy. Noise complaints brought attention to an old city ordinance banning open headers. Simply put, mud racing in Searcy has been shut down. They are allowing the race scheduled for this weekend to go on, but none after that. Our family has been racing for almost 10 years. Justin was racing before he could legally drive on the highway. Every other weekend for several years was spent with our teenage boys at one race venue or another. We have met a lot of people we would never met any other way, spent time with family at the pits. Now I know how you softball, basketball, football moms felt when senior year was over. LOL
