A little sad today... had to put my kitty girl down this morning. She lived in the fenced front yard...had her own dry house and heated box. I fed her twice a day, and she obliged with leg rubs and purrs. She came to us several years ago when her own family moved just far enough away; she didnt want to go with. She had always been only a street kitty with them, anyway. Lately, I could see her health was declining. Then a couple weeks ago her belly began to swell noticeably (she was spayed long ago). I chose not to spend the bucks on diagnostics, as I could tell it clearly was her time to go be with the Lord. She passed quickly at the vets this morning, and though I miss her, it gives me joy to think of her once again whole and free... RIP little Autumn.
