A little strange reflection here. This past Saturday night, I - TopicsExpress

A little strange reflection here. This past Saturday night, I decided to finally watch a copy of the Joe Cocker concert film, Mad Dogs & Englishmen. Id had it for a few months and just decided to watch it on a whim. Its a great film and you should definitely watch it if ya like the rock and roll. One of the musicians that played with Cocker on tour was saxophonist Bobby Keys who also passed away earlier this year. Hes featured prominently throughout the movie. In the film, there is an interview with Bobby Keys while he is driving Joe Cocker through Dealey Plaza where John F. Kennedy was assassinated. They speak briefly about the assassination, but the conversation soon turns. Mind you, Im in no way trying to conjure any goofy conspiracy hoodoo. I just thought the fact that I decided to watch it two days before Cocker died, not knowing about his failing health and having forgotten the departed Keys was a featured performer in the film and seeing them converse about death was kind of eerie and strange. This will be goofy in hindsight, but its eerie and strange to me now. Anyways, bless Bobby & Joe and thanks for the rock & roll! All hail gibberish!
