A little thought...(yes i know i am a slow idiot) but its about the black boxes (coloured yellow i believe). Am i right in thinking that these boxes are tamper proof, that if anything happened to the plane or even before, everything gets recorded, that it has its own power source if the power of the plane is cut or the transponder gets turned off. Iff what is true about the battery lasting for 30 days, would that not have then been emitting a 10 second pulse of a signal for one of Boeings satellites to pick up on as it would be an emergency beacon, just like you get in military aircraft, same format just a civilian version. If all this is true, thee apparent transponder that was turned off would have made the beacon signal kick in automatically and could have been tracked for thee apparent 7 hour flight from radar. Thee authorities talk of the signal working at 2000 metres down in thee ocean, but have not heard much when the plane is flying. There is no point having an emergency beacon pinging away if its only going to cover a distance of 2000 metres. I recently bought a mobile phone, it does the phone bit, voice mail, text, different tunes, a radio even has an S.O.S. button on the back! all for the princely sum of £25.00 (not including credit). So where was the emergency beacon from the black box in all that time?.
