A long read but its worth it: I know I been speaking on the law for quite some time now and have made valid points from the Bible as to why we should keep them. But I will leave that topic alone for a while and lay out this final point. If you still find fault with the law, then I dont think anything heard or seen from the Book will change your perspective. INIQUITY - 1 : gross injustice : wickedness 2 : a wicked act or thing : SIN We should all know 1 John 3:4 by now. This is the definition of what sin actually is contrary to what people believe it to be. Seeing the definition of the word INIQUITY and how it equates to sin, check out what JESUS, our Savior says here to people who think they are doing His will when He returns. Notice this is future tense! Matthew 7:22-23 22 Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? And in thy name have cast out devils? And in thy name done many wonderful works? 23 And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work INIQUITY Wow. Right out of His mouth. You should look deeper into this if I were you. He goes on to say: 24 Therefore whoever heareth these sayings of mine, AND DOETH them, I will liken him unto a wise man, which built his house upon a rock. (Read 1 Corinthians 10:4 to find out who our rock is) 26 And everyone that heareth these sayings of mine, and DOETH them not, shall be likened unto a foolish man, which built his house upon the sand. Now youve heard the law, will you do them? Better yet, can you find AND show me where Jesus said not to do His commandments or the law? We are to be followers of Christ right? To take upon His yoke, correct? Then why do we do contrary to what He says and TEACHES???? Another point to make: Isaiah 59:1-2 1 Behold, The Lords hand is not shortened, that it cannot save, neither His ear heavy, that it cannot hear: 2 But your INIQUITIES (there go that word again) have separated between you and your God, and your sins have his His face from you, that He WILL NOT hear. Last point and I leave you with this. To those who feel as though the dietary law is gone as well. Please read ALL of Isaiah 66. It talks about His reign on Earth when He comes back (the 1000 year millennium or the Day of The Lord) This is future tense here! Isaiah 66:16-17 16 For by fire and by His sword (His Word) will The Lord plead with all flesh: and the slain of The Lord shall be MANY Who are the many this speaks of? 17 They that sanctify themselves, and purify themselves in the gardens behind one tree in the midst (tree of the knowledge if good and evil), EATING SWINES FLESH, and the abomination, and the mouse, shall be consumed together, saith The Lord. No more needs to be said. Study the Bible in its entirety and actually trust God (His Word) not your interpretation of it and work out your own salvation with fear and trembling (Philippians 2:12).
