A look at the 100 inch telescope at Mt. Wilson which is undergoing rehabilitation and should be ready for use to the public sometime next year. This is the same facility that Edwin Hubble and Milton Humason put together the evidence for the big bang theory. You can see a photo of the old control system and the new board along with your average desktop computer which is expected to be running the scope. And yes a bit of trivia, this is where a segment of one of the episodes of Cosmos: A Personal Voyage was filmed.
