A lot has been said about the unwed mother who brought her child to church to be baptized, and I agree that what the priest did was harsh and un-Christian and uncalled for. However -- and let me emphasize: Im not talking of the same case -- there are women who knowingly do a wrong thing, knowingly wreck the lives of people who have never done anything bad to them, and do it over and over and over again. They try to justify their actions, try to get people to feel sorry for them, but in the end it all boils down to unrepentant selfishness: they think their temporary happiness is more important than the entire lives, the entire future of other people, including those of innocent children. My point is this: in our rush to be compassionate to sinners, lets not forget the people whose lives they have knowingly, voluntarily, repeatedly destroyed. Dont judge the sinner, but dont condone the sin. Even God eventually separates the sheep from the goats. ~Dr. Ligaya Solera
