A lot of Pakistani parents need to learn to let their children take decisions for themselves. Im sick of hearing news like A loving couple committed suicide because their parents didnt want them to be together. or meeting girls like, I want to study but I cant because my parents dont want me to. I think most parents take advantage of the fact that our society is more traditional and deems the opinions of parents more important. Not that Im against this tradition. But parents should stop acting like they know everything and their children know nothing. A lot of times, a girl cant make her own life decisions because she is considered a kid unless shes married. She cant study if her parents dont want her to, she cant travel if her parents dont want her to, she cant have a job without her parents consent and she cant be with the man of her choice. Honestly, Parents! Let your children have their own experiences please and let them make their own decisions. They have a brain and a heart too, let them use it.
