A lot of people are asking me why the Night School Web Series episodes are short. Most web series, so far, are ten minutes long or less. The Lizzie Bennet Diaries, the Morganville Vampires series, they follow this format and weve done the same. To make longer episodes youd need more investment. More time. Then it becomes more like a standard television series. If we made half-hour episodes instead of 10-minute episodes, it would probably have taken us two years to make the series, rather than six months. And it would have cost more than a million pounds. This way we can work quickly, within a small budget. And our episodes are anywhere from 5 minutes to 10 minutes long. We hope the series will create enough buzz and interest that some studio that HAS a million dollars will come along and do a full series or film. THEN you will have longer episodes! :-)
