A lot of people didnt like this guy, and with good reason. He was a total poser, an egomaniac, and his act gets old after 20 minutes. Its all true. I personally witnessed him being pelted with fast food at a metal club in the early 1990s. Whats also true though, is that his technique and execution is nearly flawless, and is deserving of tremendous merit. A lot of metal guitarists, that consider themselves more hardcore, wont tell you that they secretly covet him. But they do. They all do. Yngwie Malmsteen, 1985.
