A lot of people do not understand Classical Music. Many just have the odd tune they like that was written by a Great Composer. They fail to understand that the 98% of Classical Music most people dont like, actually represents the composers attempt to keep writing until they managed to knock out the occasional really good tune, that a construction worker might whistle. So we have Beethoven, who had to write 9 Symphonies until he managed to write one really excellent tune - that was good enough for a TV commercial. Of course Mozart was the exception and his compositions were full of tunes you could tap your feet along to, he was nearly as good as Andrew Lloyd Webber, or dare I say Billy Ray Cyrus. I hope this has in someway caused you to realise that Classical Music is really quite good and is worth suffering for, in order to become cultured, like what I am.
