A lot of people dont agree with me on this.. at the same time a lot of people do and which ever side youre on I respect that it is your right and your decision to feel this way but I need to express this. Do you know what the N word is? Its just a word. How about the F word, you know, the one with an A following the F. It is also just a word. A lot of people are so deeply offended by a string of letters that what they fail to realize is that the more they take offense, the more those who stand against them will use it. By taking offense, you just let them win and they will pick up on that immediately and remember it so that they can win again the next time. If you hear it, dont get angry or disheartened. Keep your chin up and smile at the user to show that you dont care.just shrug it off. that will enfuriate them. It will enfuriate them because the power that they held over you, you just took it and made it your own. Theyre just words. Theyre all just words. Maybe in the past there was more weight to them, but, now, in this time taking offense and condemning someone for their use of said words is the equivalent of holding a 50+ year grudge. Only when we as a society can move on from the WORD, can we resolve and move on from the problem all together. Idk, maybe Im wrong, and maybe I sound like an idiot. I just feel that sensorship creates blindness and these days people want to sensor and ban anything that might hurt their feelings or steal their innocence. This is not an innocent world. We are not innocent people. Stop pretending.
