Am yisrael chai, which youve probably seen in art or on a tshirt, literally translates to the people of Israel live. It is the essence of the Jewish teachings and spirit to hold life in the highest possible regard. So we sing, we dance, we laugh, and we smile just for being alive. And we feel blessed, even with the great burden of trying to provide a safe life and a place to call home for the next generation. Do you smile just for being alive?
