A lot of people think Brian Varner and I are nuts for doing what we do. We do dog and bird rescue. But few can have beautiful, crazy, funny mornings like I have everyday where Im told I love you over and over by Oz with the occasional what the f*uck thrown in directed at Casper while snacking on fruit, be called m*therf*cker* by Casper (who also interjects those words with I love you, hear Gracies sweet little Good morning, be reminded Lilly is a good bird as she starts to scream her morning Too sound off all while watching Giant Schnauzers romp in the morning dew, get wallowed by a Fila while Blade is checking on all the plants outside,and get exercise by hopping over tiny Chihuahuas continually. I get to see the sun rise and the sun set being buzzed by hummingbirds, listening to the roosters crow and The Notorious P.I.G. snort out his greetings. Life is darn good. I am blessed beyond asking. The biggest blessing of all is being able to see them, feel them, to acknowledge these gifts and be grateful.
