A lot of questions arise of why my rebuilds are more expensive - TopicsExpress

A lot of questions arise of why my rebuilds are more expensive than the average of other shops. I dont mind touching a few topics. I always use new parts, never reinstall nor sell you used or broken components. I follow rules and abide by policies which ensure the quality of your parts. I will not tell everybody every single reason I do my job, lest you steal the information for your own business. Customers are always given proper photo records of parts which do the talking for themselves. Youll always know what youre paying for. If you have an Evo with a high bill, parts will not exceed the cost of a brand new gearbox ie: $4000 Evo VIII-IX bill, wont be $4000 if you need a new gearbox and even modified ratios. Typically Parts retail is around $3800 for a completely new gearbox plus 2 ratio changes which is the typical upgrade, so the bill is kept around that cost. Return customers (not blacklisted) who bring back their Hayes Racing Transmission always have, and still do receive a great deal on services, usually around 50-70% off labor fees, or are charged a reasonable price per hour. Whichever is less.
