A lot of reminiscing going on this weekend. Toronto is so interesting now. There is a whole new wave of people that represent the electronic music industry here. This weekend I attended 3 packed events in one night..all with fresh faces its incredible. Guvernment is closing..Coda is 1 years old and Footwork is just a memory. I am currently answering some questions for a special interview coming out in the coming weeks about all this. Its all very surreal to see how its turned over. I definitely never thought that when we were going to work every weekend at Guv, Zone, Film, System , Footwork..The Docks on Sundays..Element..Beba Thursdays....that years later we would be talking about how those parties shaped this cities scene. We were just going to work...and now Toronto is regarded as one of the Top Electronic Music scenes in the world. This city 100% deserves that title and I can say that with complete confidence because I dont even live here anymore. 2 years ago I made this and I think its very appropriate for right now. Its a cool glimpse into the cities history and how it made me the DJ that I am ....with some key players you may recognize ;)
