A lot of rhetoric about native land, especially the Momi deal in the last few days. And yes, I have been caught up in it as well, debating the various aspects of it. This is what I dont get. IF (big IF) it was really illegal, as the Fiji First party are claiming, why dont they just take those involved in it to court? In fact, why hasnt it happened in the last 8 years? Because this issue is taking up so much of the national conversation, which IMO would have been better off spent talking about the economy, how we are going to improve the health system, education, job creation, inflation..... Basically stuff that affects everyone, as opposed to an issue that only affects Fijians, and is better adjudicated on by a court of law. That way, therell be no more arguments.
