A lot of small-time bankers passionately hate Sanusi Lamido Sanusi - TopicsExpress

A lot of small-time bankers passionately hate Sanusi Lamido Sanusi for his tenure in the CBN. This hatred is bred by the fact that SLS was constrained to reform the banking industry, which the last governor, Charles Soludo did not have the courage nor integrity to do. A lot of banking jobs were lost as a result of these reforms. Eiyaa...people we knew!! What they failed to think about was that there was a global meltdown which affected economies worldwide; Sanusi had the unenviable responsibility of managing that meltdown as it concerned this country. He was swift & courageous & decisive about it; our banking was actually in a big mess; thanks to Soludo. The global meltdown cost jobs across all sectors (their sense should have made them see it, but like a mob, do they have time to think?) When the day of reckoning came, criminals like Erastus Akingbola fled from this country & justice. I have repeatedly asked these cheap bunch of noisemakers to show me anywhere where an innocent man flees from the law?! Organisations worldwide & countrywide were constrained to lay off countless staff. If it were not for SLSs genius & financial dexterity, it would have been catastrophic & would have messed up the whole country. Recently in this country, we had a deficit of approximately $20 billion from oil sales. Leave the grammar; someone stole our money; SLS again raised an alarm. This was after he had seen that our so-called President was a lilly-livered accomplice that did not have the intelligence or the ability to arrest the situation. Moreover he had a lot of vested interests to protect. As I write, our Petroleum minister has gone to court to ask that she be protected from accounting for the missing sum...& as I write, the money is still missing & nobody is searching! People have been lynched for stealing much less, yet neither our President nor his ministers are ready to account for billions of our money. Yet despite all the foolish public sentiments against SLS, he has once again been vindicated! We should all recognise integrity as what we need in a nation, not the useless sentiments of some cheap bankers & ill-informed Nigerians. Please lets all congratulate Sanusi Lamido Sanusi on his ascension to the throne of his ancestors!
