A lot of the anti Obama Care rhetoric has folks believing the enactment of the ACA is the reason for every bad thing that happens regarding their healthcare. And folks who are against the ACA for other reasons, perpetuate those thoughts because its easy. My own issues with the ACA are that it didnt do enough to reign in on insurance companies making our lives hard and expensive, and it didnt make any moves to reduce frivolous lawsuits, which is a big reason all of the costs have sky-rocketed. BUT!!! The Affordable Care Act, or ACA -- the law popularly known as Obamacare -- GIVES A POLICY HOLDER NEW RIGHTS to demand that an insurer reconsider any health claim denial. The process is still tedious and time consuming, but dont blame Obamacare (the ACA).
