A lot of times in prayer, I have asked for direction; Lord, what do you want me to do? Sometimes, He doesnt say and so I ask again the next day...do you ever do that? As I was praying this morning, here is what the Lord said to me; “If you will listen to me, it does not always mean that I will tell you what to do, but because you listen to me, I will give you favor and hear the desire of your heart. If you will listen for what I want , then I will listen for what you want. I do not hear the words that come out of your mouth, I hear the words that come out of your heart.If your mouth is speaking what the heart is speaking, then you are worshipping in truth. My Words are spirit and truth, worship me in Spirit and in truth I realized that instead of asking direction, sometimes I just need to ask for what I desire and leave it up to him whether I need to do something or not.If I do need to do something, then surely He will tell me; if not, then surely He will do it without my assistance.
