A lot of times, we pray asking God for help, but dont really trust Him to get stuff done. We see it in our own lives when we get busy—and it’s always busy! The last thing we want to do is stop and pray, because it feels like the opposite of doing something. When it comes to problems we’re facing, or goals we want to accomplish, we tend to focus more on our own power and authority to get things done than Gods. This is why even people who never pray turn to prayer in times of extreme emergency. Something has finally cropped up thats beyond their control, and so they pray about it.
