A loud roar and more comes from the convenience store. Then some squealing tire sounds echo and I see the smoke of burning rubber. I see the teens huddled in the far corner of the lot with their corn syrup treats watching afraid. This man with his plan to put on a show revs his economy car bastardized to form disturbance everywhere it goes. Shifting to win the human race with his ego in hand he roars past and my beastie and I gasp from the rich fuel mix that he dumps from his exhaust. A laugh as he goes seriously hollywood past. So loud that all will look and see his useless anodized electric blue race car parachute hook. Could he be a product of his true self?
