A lovely bit of feedback on our work with schools - I’d been meaning to reply to your last email, just to say thank you for taking the time to explain everything to me, but also to give you some feedback regarding the flexible learning day last week. Everyday is the same, Daniel comes out of school, gets in the car and I ask him how his day was and his response is usually “yeah, fine”! Typical teenager, he very rarely elaborates and if he does it doesnt tend to be about anything he’s learnt in lessons. However, last Thursday was completely different - I couldnt shut him up!! It was nice to hear such enthusiasm from him about everything he’d done during the day, things he’d learnt and the activities he’d participated in. He told me all about the various animals he had seen in the morning in great detail and was able to remember a lot of what he had learnt about them. It was wonderful to see him so keen and enthusiastic and as much as I would love for him to be so joyful about his day everyday, I realise that is wishful thinking but it was still lovely to see nonetheless! So I just wanted to pass on my gratitude and express how great I think it is that the school is able to organise these days for the kids and from our point of view it was a huge success.
