A lovely day to close down the barn and prepare it for a winter rest. After a wonderfully busy Friday and Saturday in The Grainary, we are going to take a break. We are busy taking cuttings and planting seeds for next years Spring Season in the greenhouse. Soon, the vegetable catalogs will be arriving and we will be tempted by the latest varieties of fresh, ripe tomatoes and Big Daves Sweetcorn. I am going to finish freezing and canning some red peppers. Will be shredding cabbage for sauerkraut Saturday. Hurry in for the last of the winter squash and cabbage. We will have it available for the next couple of days. Take time for your outdoor activities during the next 36 hours......then prepare for winter-like temperatures. Have a blessed day. Peace
