A lovely one of the smoothies I am making today in a Company in Cork to help them stay healthy and keep their immune systems boosted throughout Halloween !! and the Winter Try it !!!! Immune Boosting Smoothie “it’s yummy!” Serves 2 1 pear, handful of berries(e.g. strawberries or raspberries), juice of ½ lemon, ¼ inch of fresh ginger peeled, a handful of fresh kale leaves, 1 tablespoon of chia seeds or 1 avocado skinned and stoned taken out, 150ml-200ml of coconut water. • Mix all of this together in a blender and blend and enjoy! Coconut water: full of potassium to help keep the body hydrated and make you feel good. Ginger is a herb that helps with digestion and is great for the cold and flu season. Make your own ginger tea by infusing a little thumb sized portion in boiled water and leave it settle for 10 minutes before adding some freshly squeezed lemon juice to taste.
