A man and woman will appear in Mudgee Local Court today charged over the alleged abduction of a seven-year-old boy. Police from Brisbane Water Local Area Command had been searching for a 23-year-old man and a 39-year-old woman, after the child was removed from his home in Ettalong Beach on Monday 16 June 2014. About midday yesterday (Thursday 26 June 2014), a couple and child were found in Mudgee. The couple were taken to Mudgee Police Station where they were each charged with one count of take/detain child with intent to remove from parental control They were refused bail to appear in Mudgee Local Court later today (Friday 27 June 2014).
