A man gets up on stage. He tells the audience a joke. Everyone laughs heartily. When the laughter dies down, he tells the same joke again. This time fewer people laugh. The man tells the same joke again, and again, and again. Fewer and fewer people laugh each time, until finally after telling the joke one final time, no one in the audience laughs. The man waits a beat, and says, You cant laugh at the same joke forever, yet so many of us insist on crying over the same mistakes and circumstances most of our lives. Are you still crying?
