A man had to be rescued this morning after he climbed on top of the Rundle Malls Balls and then couldnt get down. Just after 5.30am, police and fire crews were called to Rundle Mall to find the man sitting on top of the shiny Adelaide icons. The 28-year-old man from Kudla was rescued by SA Metropolitan Fire officers after they placed a ladder against the Adelaide landmark, where he was able to climb down to waiting police officers!! The man who was slightly intoxicated, was reported by Eastern Adelaide Police for disorderly behaviour, he is expected to be summonsed to appear in the Adelaide Magistrates Court at a later date.
