A man has been charged over the alleged stabbing murder of another man at Pendle Hill this morning. About 7:45am, Thursday 13 March 2014, a 47-year-old man was working at a real estate office on Pendle Way when he allegedly became involved in a confrontation with a man inside the premises. During the incident the real estate agent was stabbed once to the chest with a knife before his alleged attacker fled the scene. NSW Ambulance Paramedics attended the scene and conveyed the 47-year-old man to Westmead Hospital where he later died. A short time later officers from Parramatta Local Area Command were patrolling the Pendle Hill area, as part of the search for the alleged attacker, when they located a 33-year-old man in Hallmark Street. He was arrested and taken to Merrylands Police Station before being charged with murder and refused bail to appear in Fairfield Local Court tomorrow (Friday 14 March 2014). Detectives from Holroyd Local Area Command, with the assistance of the State Crime Command’s Homicide Squad, are continuing their investigations into the man’s death.
