A man has died in a single-vehicle crash near Binalong, about 100km west of Goulburn. A police officer was travelling from Yass to Binalong when he found a white Holden Commodore which had run off Burley Griffin Way at Goonda and hit a tree, about 11.30pm (Monday 23 June 2014). The driver died at the scene. He is yet to be formally identified. Burley Griffin Way remains closed between Binalong and the Hume Highway while investigations are conducted. It’s expected to reopen in the next few hours.
