A man has facial injuries after being assaulted at a hotel in the state’s south overnight. About 1am (Saturday 24 May 2014), an 18-year-old man was at a hotel on Dean Street, Albury, when he was allegedly struck in the face with a champagne glass. He sustained lacerations to his face and was treated at the scene by NSW Ambulance Paramedics. Police from Albury Local Area Command were notified of the incident and commenced an investigation. A 22-year-old woman was arrested at the hotel and taken to Albury Police Station. She has since been released pending further investigations.
