A man in his seventies came in for a follow-up visit today... And as it turns out, there was surprise waiting (for him and for us)!!! He has been a patient in our office for many years... He truly understands the importance of preventative maintenance... But TODAY WAS VERY DIFFERENT! In the middle of his visit, he mentioned he had been dealing with a cataract on his right eye and the surgery had been scheduled. We examined him and it was confirmed... He could see clearly out of his left eye, but not out of his right eye... He was evaluated, treated & ministered to and then he was re-examined... THATS WHEN WE ALL GOT PLEASANTLY SURPRISED!!! Within just a minute or so, HE BEGAN TO SEE CLEARLY OUT OF HIS RIGHT EYE!!! He QUICKLY pulled out a credit card receipt from his wallet... He looked at it with his right eye closed and could see it... Then he switched, covered his left eye and HE GASPED!!! HE THEN READ off the small credit card receipt WITH HIS RIGHT EYE!!! The look on his face told the whole story... SHOCK, RELIEF and A HUMUNGOUS SMILE FILLED HIS FACE as he looked up, across the room, all around and was able to see clearly with both of his eyes again!!! We witnessed it, and it just brings this point home... There is not one tissue in the body that will not heal! All praise be to God!!!! We go to bed tonight just wondering what surprises tomorrow will bring???? Have an absolutely great night! Drs Ray & Mary
