A man named John Bess posted quite a bit of pics about how Christianity is the one true path to heaven. I could not help but post a rather large paragraph with the main basis of my thoughts about God. It is as follows- Jesse Fleming What happens when you die and you find out you have been worshiping a religion created by man... perhaps instead of having a belief (based on no evidence, besides what others tell you)... you should just have an idea... Whats wrong with just believing in god PERIOD. If my faith in that idea is wrong and God cannot understand that... then it is not god, and I need not worry. Religions are way too strict, they are just cults in my eyes... believe this and give us your money and your time so that you can get into heaven and we can further our cause. That doesnt sound good. Why do they have collection plates? Faith should not require material things. Gods love is unconditional, if you are truly a good person you would know this. God loves you no matter what you do, I have done wrong in my life, and I know that god has forgiven me for my wrongs simply because I felt pain for those wrongs. What you should try to understand is that we are all a part of god, tell me you dont feel it when you look into a persons eyes. Tell me you dont feel like you killed a part of yourself when you kill a living creature. If you dont then heres where it all comes full circle. Hell... is for the people who are so self consumed by destruction that they will never go to that restful energy filled place we call heaven, these people are so ignorant that they dont feel anything for the pain they have caused others (that includes all living and non living things). Hell is also for the people who cant forgive themselves for their evil, Ill use suicide for this example because its the simplest way to convey the feeling/idea to you. For god to forgive you, you have to forgive yourself... thats a complex thought to absorb even though I have pondered it thoroughly. Im going to stop sharing this because its only my opinion, as Buddha says believe nothing, no matter where you read it, or who said it, no matter if I have said it, unless it agrees with your own reason and your own common sense. To end this, I think the main thing about life is to be good, be good to yourself, and be good to others, no matter how different they are... It is hard to be good to John Bess I know, when confronted with hate and anger its really difficult to turn the other cheek. Just remember, what he does to you is his karma, what you do to him is yours. And John, if your reading this... you are forcing your ideas down peoples throats, in chat it is the same thing as yelling... its better to present your ideas and let people decide for themselves what is right. As they say Religion is like a penis, its fine to have one, its fine to be proud of it, but please dont whip it out in public and start waving it around, and PLEASE dont try to shove it down my childrens throats. And to the people on my facebook, Im not trying to knock your beliefs. Im just trying to present my ideas in the hope that you will be more accepting of others, perhaps a metaphor would do for this purpose. We are all just flashlights trying to illuminate a picture, and no matter how bright one shines... the only way we will see the whole picture is together. In conclusion, if you have a take on my ideas, I will always listen. I think we all strive to be loving as God would and with that in mind I will never shut anyone out unless they are doing harm to me or my family(Bailey and my children).
