A man should never be too busy to look after his family. Its especially disappointing to see a leader or a respected community member neglect his family. Dont you think its very interesting how Allah put the order in the following supplication in Surat al-Furqan والذين يقولون ربنا هب لنا من أزواجنا وذرياتنا قرة أعين واجعلنا للمتقين إماما And those who say Oh our Lord, make our spouses and children the contentment of our eyes and make us leaders of the righteous 25:74 See in this dua, you pray for your family first then to become a worthy leader. Many times though, the opposite happens. People in their haste to become leaders, they try to do many things. They want to speak, they want to travel, they want to serve.
