A man walks into a hospital because he is lonely, depressed, tired all the time, and just doesnt feel good. This hospital has a reputation for being friendly, loving, & compassionate; just what he thinks he needs. He checks himself in and the hospital is all that he has heard. However, what he and the hospital dont realize is that he has a tumor in him causing all his symptoms. While the hospital helped his immediate emotional needs, his terminal needs were never meet and he died. American Christianity has seem to become like this hospital, so concerned about helping people with everything but with the one terminal problem thats in us all, SIN. Sin is our tumor that terminally condemns us all. If it goes unnoticed, if it goes undiagnosed, wanting it to stay buried because we dont want to acknowledge it, we are therefor condemned to death. We are all sinners in need of a savior. It is by the perfect substitutionary sacrifice of Jesus Christ that we are offered salvation!
