A man was arrested after a police pursuit and foot chase in the Blair Athol area overnight. At about 1am, police attempted to pull over a vehicle on Prospect Road, Blair Athol, however, the driver failed to stop and was pursued through the back streets. The car was abandoned in Leader Avenue, Kilburn and the driver fled on foot. He was arrested after a short foot pursuit. A 42-year-old Kilburn man was charged with engage in a police pursuit, hinder police, resist police, drive contrary to defect, drive while suspended and breach of bail. He was refused police bail and will face court today.
