A massive thank you to those who came over to the Park Banstand - TopicsExpress

A massive thank you to those who came over to the Park Banstand today to be filmed for ITV Calendar, especially Miss Eastwoods Class from Marsden Junior School, who were fantastic helping us in our bid for Peoples Millions and Big Lottery Fund money to help us bring jobs to the Colne Valley. By restoring the Packhorse Track (Crow Trees Lane) as part of our Heritage Trail,Crossing the Pennines in association with The Milestone Society, College Students can learn new skills, Local Craftsmen can get work on the restoration, and the Trail will showcase the Colne Valley and enhance Green tourism, bringing more money to local businesses in Slaithwaite and Marsden, and the other villages in the surrounding areas. Thats IF WE WIN! We can only help out the Colne Valley and its Villages if you all vote next Wednesday 26th November - The phone number to call will be available to ring from 9am til Midnight on 26th November - The Film will be aired on ITV Calendar at 6pm that day too. The Phone number will be advertised everywhere on the internet on that day :) crossingthepennines.co.uk
