A math graduate student tutor accidentally showed me a way to use Calculus to find the area of a circle, that I am not supposed to learn until next term. So, I was greatly confused by the method (supposedly easier, but, conceptual is actually NEVER easier) that our Prof. is teaching right now. I had to go to Prof. for clarification on how the two related. When I was done, that same tutor said, Okay, now teach it to me, so that you know that you really understand it. So, I sat down, and taught him the relationship between the two methods, and now, I truly have a firm grasp! Jamie, the graduate student, is going to be a great teacher.
