A member of Fifas organizing committee for Olympic football tournaments has been arrested, the Togo Football Federation said on Friday. Togo football president Gabriel Ameyi was detained in connection with a business transaction, federation official Toussa Komi Gabriel said, adding that the arrest had nothing to do with his running of the football body. Fifa said it was informed that hes currently in custody but had no further comment on Ameyis situation.
