A member of the Bel Air Volunteer Fire Company (BAVFC) was struck and killed by a utility vehicle today. According to the BAVFC, units responded to a motor vehicle collision with injury and determined that a four wheel drive was needed. A BAVFC utility vehicle equipped with snowplow responded to the request. As it drove down a driveway to get to the patient it began to slide and struck a BAVFC paramedic.
