A memorial service for Paul Sherwood will be held Sunday, August 25, 2013 at 6:00PM at the Flatirons Reservoir Pavilion. A short service and tribute video will be followed by a pot luck picnic and time to share memories by the lake with music, drinks and snacks. All are welcome. Please bring a dish and your favorite memories to share at this casual event. **Flatirons reservoir requires parking permits to enter the park area. We will provide a number of these at the gate for guests to use, but please be aware that it will be $7 per car once they are gone. Carpooling is encouraged. Date: 8-25-13 (Sunday) Time: 6pm Directions: Take I-25 north (from Denver) or south (from Fort Collins) to Exit 257B (Highway 34 - Loveland) heading west. Continue west through Loveland on U.S. Highway 34 (Called Eisenhower in Loveland) Watch for the "Carter Lake" road sign just past mile marker #85. Turn left (south) onto County Road 29 and continue for 2 miles. Turn right (west) onto County Road 18E and continue another 2 miles. Watch for signs directing you turn left (south) to the park entrance station. (park entrance permits here) Go back north to County Road 18E and turn left (west) continuing approximately 1/2 mile to Flatiron Reservoir and look for the Pavilion.
