A message from A-State Baseball Coach Tommy Raffo: Let me be the first to personally invite you to join the Red Wolves baseball team for the annual Grand Slam Fan Fest on Tuesday, February 11th from 5:00 pm - 8:30 pm in the Convocation Center. The Grand Slam Fan Fest is our main fundraiser and the proceeds from this event make a tremendous impact on our program and ability to compete in the Sun Belt Conference. To help us kickoff the 2014 baseball season with our 12th Annual Grand Slam Fan Fest, we will feature the 2014 Arkansas State Baseball team along with former A-State MLB minor league players. This year we will recognize an outstanding ASU Baseball alumnus who has made significant contributions in today’s society. Our first ASU Honorary Alumnus is Jim Callaway (1965-1967) of San Antonio, TX. Pre-game activities will begin at 5:00 pm with cocktails and hors d’oeuvres, an open silent auction, autographs and interactive baseball skills. A speed pitch and other contests will be set up to keep you and your family entertained throughout the event. Following team introductions, enjoy an incredible pork steak and barbeque chicken meal before our live auction, which will act as our 7th inning stretch! The evening promises to be fun and entertaining for all ages! We appreciate your continued support and look forward to seeing you in Tomlinson Stadium this season.
