A message from Georgia Begley Im 15 years old and have had many fantastic experiences with the Ulster Orchestra. When I was 7 I first sang in Phil Kids and did a whole concert with the orchestra. Ive also been doing Come and Play since I was 10 and these experiences have been very encouraging, fun and I learnt so much. Last year I did a piano masterclass with Michael McHale in the Ulster hall, which was organised by the Ulster Orchestra education department. Ive learnt a tremendous amount from these experienced professionals, which has encouraged me to continue playing music. I have enjoyed seeing the Ulster Orchestra ever since I first saw the Snowman, when I was 4. Last week I went to see Ioana Petcu-Colan and Michael McHale play with the orchestra and it was amazing. I currently play in City of Belfast Youth Orchestra and am coached by Ulster Orchestra musicians each week. CBYO also goes to see UO perform regularly. These are things I would definitely miss as an aspiring violinist and pianist. Please save the Ulster Orchestra.
