A message from Gloucestershire Against Badger Shooting (GloucestershireAgainstBadgerShooting) Wounded Badger Patrols are ready to start as soon as the cull begins and we’re hoping lots of you will join us. Our patrols operate within the law to patrol footpaths and find wounded badgers to ensure that they get veterinary help. There are two cull zones in Gloucestershire. West of the River Severn from Tewkesbury to Newent and East of the River Severn from Tewkesbury to Gloucester. When the cull starts there will be nightly patrols in each zone. Please see our website during the cull for up to date information on times, venues and all you need to know about patrols: glosagainstbadgershooting.org/ Patrols will be organised by one of our experienced night coordinators so you don’t need to worry about not knowing the area or coming along on your own. If you’re not able to do much walking, we also need sett monitors and car based patrollers so there really is something for everyone! Please see our website for other suggestions on how to support Gloucestershire’s badgers as well as more information on our patrols. Even if you can only come down for one evening or a single weekend during the cull we’d be delighted to have your help for our badgers.
