A message from Josh Clauson, the festival producer, on behalf of the Meltdown Team: This year, in the wake of the most horrific disaster this area has endured, the Summer Meltdown family came through, stronger and brighter than ever to show our resilience, our positivity, and our generosity. With your help, Summer Meltdown raised $4,183 cash for families directly affected by the slide. We donated over $9,000 in tickets to first responders, volunteers, and their families. We raised over $550 and purchased school supplies for Darrington kids in need, and we planted a butterfly maple tree at the Oso Firehall that was showered with love, well wishes, and prayer ribbons all weekend at the festival. Our presence shined a light on the importance of rebuilding efforts in the region, and we continue to be a part of the evolution of the community. None of this would have been possible without YOU!
