A message from Meredith Mansfield: (Stoked that DP Brakes and CarbSport are supporting this) Where my girls at?! Just putting out a separate bulletin to all of the women involved in the Eastern States Cup as racers, parents, supportive girlfriends, sisters, friends and general enthusiasts: This year were starting an informal Ladies Lounge tent in the main pit area, and will be facilitating a few casual activities such as practice day track walk, a group practice run, and some end of the day fun runs. Our goal is simply to pull together a space that is positive, judgment / drama / intimidation free and welcoming, as a community links beginners and spectators up with females of experience. Its a place to throw down your gloves and have a snack, seek some shade, and gather tips. ALL are welcome, and men are encouraged to bring us their better halves. This space is open and available to all regardless of team affiliation and riding experience, even if there is nobody there to greet you (because were up on the hill shredding the gnar). Grab a chair and kick it with us. See you out there, and happy spring!
