A message from Mother Sara in this weeks eNotes: As many of you know, in February we offered our first Contemplative High Mass service. After six weeks, two things have become clear: 1) there is a great longing and appreciation in the metro area for a sung high mass at a time that doesn’t conflict with other church services, and 2) creating such a service week after week is not practical or sustainable given our current resources of staff and volunteers. We have decided that after this Saturday, we will offer the Contemplative High Mass monthly, on April 5, May 3, and June 7. We will take a summer break as many churches do with special services, and resume in September. In the fall we will decide whether to explore again a weekly Saturday service. I am most grateful to James, Ben, and the many volunteers who have given time and energy to getting this service started. We will have a service this Saturday at 5:30.
