A message from Mrs Nutting, Head Teacher at Oxenhope Primary - TopicsExpress

A message from Mrs Nutting, Head Teacher at Oxenhope Primary School regarding the school closure today and tomorrow: Please rest assured that everything possible is being done to resolve our current heating problems. We will know in the morning whether the necessary parts have arrived. We have accessed some temporary heaters but these will need to be health and safety checked tomorrow and tested to see if they will adequately heat the building. However even if these are declared safe and get the school to a reasonable temperature we will still not have hot water so would not be able to provide lunches meaning only a partial opening would be possible. We are also exploring all possibilities and making contingency plans to be able to put on the KS1 nativity at some point this week. The children will need some rehearsal time before performing! I am hopeful that we will be able to open to children on Wednesday and we will be able to squeeze all our parties, nativities, church service, raffle, Christmas dinner and our special visitor into the last few days! I will continue to communicate with parents/carers by text and on this group. Please ensure the school office have your up to date phone number for text messages. Thank you for your patience in this difficult situation. Mrs Nutting Head Teacher
