A message from a sport and personal use observer: Well, as I did see some of you at the beginning of the meeting yesterday, I can tell you, the ratio in the crowd was 10 commercial fishermen to ever sport/personal use fisherperson. If you were there and signed up, THANK YOU, if you could not make it think about this; Do you wonder why, when in the middle of the summer you have no fish? There are less than 1000 commercial fishermen in Cook Inlet, and 30,000 personal use dip netters. Let alone, 3 times that in sport fishing licenses sold. Why the heck don’t we get off the sofa and to this meeting to change things? At the Egan Center today, you have until 11am to sign up to do public testimony. If you signed up today, you would not testify today, because the list is 200 people deep already. You would most likely testify tomorrow afternoon. If you want me to SIGN YOU UP and you will really show up tomorrow to testify, FB message us or email your first and last name, location and contact number to info@krsa and well get you signed up. CALL YOUR FRIENDS THAT FISH, the testimony will really help balance the fight for fish.
