A message from our new Corps Officers.... Today a new door opens for Karen and I personally as well as for the Tauranga Salvation Army Corps. A change of officer can be a real challenge for both officer and corps but the bible reminds us in Revelation 3:7 that it is God who opens and shuts doors What he opens no one can shut, and what he shuts, no one can open. So, Karen and I know that this where God wants us to be for the next few years, and we pray that you will share that sense that Tauranga Corps is in Gods hands too. We want to honour Captain Ross and Major Joanne for the work they have done during their time here, and we pray Gods anointing on them in their new roles in Wellington. It is with great pleasure that we come to Tauranga. Our prayer is that God will enrich our journeys together and bring new souls into His kingdom during our time here. May His name be glorified. May the name of Jesus be lifted higher, and may the Holy Spirit fill us all with wisdom, grace and much love. God Bless you all, John and Karen (Majors, Corps Officers)
